SALP was established in 2014 in Erbil as a subsidiary of SALP S.p.A., an Italian contractor founded in 1959 and one of Europe’s major contractors in natural gas networks. SALP Middle East has drawn on the extensive experience of SALP S.p.A. in the Oil & Gas pipeline construction, oxygen pipelines and aqueducts as well as sewer systems, roads, riverbank protection, soil stabilization and hydraulic protection thanks to a broad technical and professional know-how, a wealth of equipment and technicians.

In the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, SALP executed many projects in the Energy Sector both upstream and downstream including pipelines, flowlines, pump stations, loading and unloading stations, refinery and power stations; thus acquiring a diversified market experience and developing a proactive and effective approach to quality, health and safety over the years.
